The Role: VP of Owned Media is a key member of the senior leadership team, working with VP of Account Management, VP of Paid Media & VP of Sales, that helps define and develop the service offerings that our growing organization provides to our clients to drive world-class marketing results. Reporting to the President, this member will develop a strategic vision that delivers a consistent, excellent experience to our clients in the most efficient way possible. Our current Owned Media services include SEO, Creative, Lifecycle Marketing & Analytics.

As VP of Owned Media, you will receive:

  • Salary range $175-200K dependent on experience

As VP of Owned Media, you will

  • Coordinate the efforts of our Directors who lead each of our Owned Media services (SEO, Creative, Lifecycle Marketing, Analytics, etc) so that our offering is driving the results our clients need and doing so efficiently (on budget).
  • Ensure we are properly tracking results for our clients across our service offerings.
  • Develop our Directors into great leaders of people.
  • Develop the strategic direction of our service offerings at Disruptive Advertising.
  • Love, sleep, breathe marketing. Understand the marketing landscape, digital marketing trends and stay up to date with the latest and greatest to ensure our offerings at Disruptive Advertising remain aligned with what our clients need.
  • Manage budget for the department (around 30 individuals) – help teams determine how to meet their needs within their allotted budgets. Strategizes how to launch new offerings within a budget.
  • Regularly collaborates with the VP of Account Management, VP of Paid Media & VP of Sales to create the best experience for our clients that leads to long-standing, meaningful relationships.

What you need to be VP of Owned Media:

  • Experience building successful B2B and B2C marketing strategies; firm grasp of digital marketing channels to be considered for an optimal strategy to serve the needs of our clients
  • Strong understanding of owned media channels and how they fit into a business’ integrated marketing strategy
  • Google Analytics and Excel reporting (Pivot table proficiency); Attribution tracking and reporting experience
  • Understanding of and management of a budget/P&L
  • Prior experience with both CRMs & eCommerce platforms
